Making Peace with Pain

By

Making peace with pain is productive.

Resisting is back tracking.

Breathe dear heart through the ache.

You’ve got this healing thing.

Remember the peace you found in solitude once before.

This can be found again.

You are full, and broken.

So many have survived worse.

This does not mean push the pain away.

Let it be, do not resist.

I smile because we once had true love and peace together.

I sigh in relief because we can let go, we have let go.

Letting go of you, is the hardest thing I’ll ever do,

but its also the best thing in the world, for the world.

Apart, we are FREE.

Some things, just work like this.

It’s a funny twist.

My uncle had high BP and hypertension issues.. And this one time he had come over for a family get together and was sleeping over at our house. And we both were just generally talking about spirituality and it’s powers. And he told me about his high BP problem and how every night before going to sleep he would put a hand on his heart and give it all the love and gratitude and talk to it.
And so I tried it. Not so sure how it works but it definitely feels good.
