All the loves you’ve lost,
how hard was it to say goodbye?
Maybe all the letting in and letting go
was strength training for your heart.
Strength training that built your capacity,
to fall so deeply in love that not even a lifetime will do.
How painful. to love something so much,
knowing someday it will not exist.
Is that not just as beautiful
as it is painful?
Is that not all
of life?
I dare you,
to fall
in love
with your own existence.
I dare you.
Now that is bold.
Clarity faded into a faded clarity.
A feeling of an unfinished metamorphosis.
From answering the questions to questioning the answers.
From having faith than the doubt, to having a doubt, on the faith.
The “w” in we with its arms reaching upwards turns into an “m” in me with its arms reaching downwards.
What feels like a loss is merely time.
Time to complete sentences and rhyme.
